We found La Cabana to be a perfect place to gather. The menu was surprisingly extensive and very moderately priced. Our food items were all really good. This restaurant also can serve alcohol, which added to our experience in a pleasant way. It appears to be family run and definitely worth the visit to enjoy really great authentic mexican and tex-mex dishes.
So I came to La Cabana for lunch and this time it was a 5/5. I hadn't had fish tacos here before and so decided that that would be a good option for lunch. I am glad that I made that choice. The chips were good, crispy, and fresh, but this review is about the fish tacos. The tacos were on flour tortillas, and they had cilantro sauce. The cilantro sauce was outstanding: not too intense, but you definitely taste it. The fish had a good sear, and was also tender and juicy. The tortillas were likewise soft and warm, which added to the texture of the tacos. These three tacos left me gut-bustingly full, and they were also incredibly tasty. I strongly recommend them.
Greaaaaaat food... servers are prompt & very nice. We've tried several various choices from menu... allllllllll have been outstanding. This restaurant is not only one of our personal favs, it has also become one of our favorite, local "go to" places to eat when entertaining friends/family from out of town!

My family recently returned to Cochran, and La Cabana has always been a favorite. The service is pretty good, the food is great, and prices are decent. Some of our favorites are Chilli Verde, Enchiladas del Mar, and the G Special. Enjoy!
Always enjoy our meal here. Everything is good, salsa and chips are always refilled. Their Grande Long Island iced tea is a must everytime we go.
